I wanted to share that Sims Tropical Fish has supplied me with an unparalleled quality of fish.
My first purchase was a Betta fish that arrived in perfect condition. His bag of water was wapped in silver foil and newspaper, inside an insulating foam box with heatpads! They also used a courier to deliver him, which, I assume, means he was in the bag for the least amount of time. So, they obviously care about the health of their fish and not just paying customers.
I’ve added photos of my Betta, Mr Universe (he is a Koi Galaxy Plakat), to this review so you can see how beautiful and healthy he was, and I’m happy to say, that he thrived and not just survived for a few days…
I’ve had a few fish from Sims now, all in perfect condition, so I have no hesitation in strongly recommending that you buy your fish from them.
Yes, their customer service can at times be a bit hit and miss, but they must be extremely busy, and for good reason. For me personally, it is the outstanding quality of their fish that has me coming back again and again.

I discovered Sims tropical online and managed to get every fish I’ve always wanted. I ordered the fish and choose a delivery date to which they accommodated my request perfectly and had the fish delivered to my address within 3 days. The fish arrived in a polystyrene box wrapped in foil and a heat pad. All the fish arrived safe and well!! Would highly recommend Sims Tropical fantastic company with some fantastic fish!
