“Originating from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi in Africa, the Pseudotropheus Kingsizei, also known as the ‘Kingsizei Cichlid,’ is a stunningly vibrant and robust fish highly sought after in aquariums. Exhibiting striking blue and yellow hues, these cichlids bring an unparalleled visual allure to any tank.
Feeding these omnivorous fish is relatively easy as they accept a variety of foods, including high-quality pellets, flakes, and occasional live or frozen treats like brine shrimp or bloodworms.
While they possess a bold and assertive demeanor, their aggression can be managed in a spacious tank with ample hiding spots and territory divisions. However, caution is advised when selecting tank mates; compatible species include other Lake Malawi cichlids with similar size and temperament.
Their spirited nature and tendency to establish territories make them more suitable for intermediate to experienced aquarists familiar with handling moderately aggressive fish. Maintaining stable water parameters within the pH range of 7.5-8.5, temperature between 76-82°F (24-28°C), and providing a rocky setup resembling their natural habitat ensures their well-being and vibrant colors shine through.”

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
