Pseudotropheus Ndumbi Red Top Malawi African Cichlid

“Discover the vibrant beauty of the Pseudotropheus Ndumbi Red Top Malawi African Cichlid! Originating from the rocky shores of Lake Malawi, this stunning fish boasts an eye-catching red dorsal fin and striking blue body, adding an exquisite pop of color to any aquarium.

Feeding on a diet primarily composed of high-quality cichlid pellets or flakes supplemented with occasional live or frozen foods enhances their health and vibrancy.

Known for their spirited nature, these cichlids exhibit moderate aggression, especially when establishing territories. They thrive in a spacious tank with ample hiding spots among rocks or caves to reduce territorial disputes. Compatible tank mates should be chosen carefully, favoring similarly sized and temperamented cichlids native to Lake Malawi.

Their care requires a moderately experienced aquarist familiar with managing cichlid behavior and maintaining stable water conditions. Aim for a pH of 7.5-8.5, water temperature between 75-82°F (24-28°C), and hard water with proper filtration.

Overall, the Pseudotropheus Ndumbi Red Top Malawi African Cichlid adds vibrancy and character to any cichlid enthusiast’s aquarium, rewarding dedicated keepers with their stunning colors and engaging behaviors.”
