Overview: The Zebra Striped Fang Blenny, with its distinct black and white horizontal stripes, is a small yet captivating addition to any marine aquarium. Origin: Native to the Indo-Pacific region, this species thrives in coral-rich lagoons and reef slopes, often found swimming freely or nestled within the crevices of the reef.

Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, the Zebra Striped Fang Blenny requires a varied diet to stay healthy. Offer a mix of marine flake foods, small pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp and mysis shrimp. Regular feeding of vitamin-enriched foods can enhance their vibrant coloration and overall health.

Tank Mates: Ideal tank mates include peaceful to moderately aggressive fish that are not small enough to be considered prey. Avoid housing with large predatory fish or those known to be aggressive towards blennies. Good companions include clownfish, dwarf angelfish, and certain types of gobies and wrasses.

Aggression: This species is generally peaceful but can exhibit territorial behavior towards its own kind and similar-looking fish. It’s recommended to keep only one per tank unless the aquarium is large enough to establish separate territories.

Experience Level: Intermediate. While not overly demanding, maintaining optimal water quality and a stress-free environment is crucial for the wellbeing of the Zebra Striped Fang Blenny.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
