Blue Pulsing Xenia Wild Soft Coral Conglomeratusclera Coerulea

Overview:
The Blue Pulsing Xenia Coral, scientifically known as Conglomeratusclera coerulea, is a mesmerizing soft coral prized for its rhythmic, pulsing motion. Its beautiful blue hues and feathery polyps create a captivating visual display, making it a standout addition to any reef aquarium. The coral’s unique “pulsing” movement, where the polyps open and close in a regular rhythm, adds both beauty and activity to your tank.

Origin:
Natively found in the Indo-Pacific region, this coral thrives in nutrient-rich, shallow reef environments with stable water conditions and moderate lighting.

Experience Level:
Beginner. The Blue Pulsing Xenia is relatively hardy and fast-growing, making it an ideal choice for new aquarists. Its easy care requirements and adaptability make it a popular coral for beginners.

Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 72-78°F (22-26°C)
  • pH: 8.1-8.4
  • Salinity: 1.023-1.025
  • Lighting: Moderate
  • Water Flow: Low to Moderate

This coral thrives under low to moderate water flow, which enhances its signature pulsing behavior. It prefers moderate lighting and should be placed in an area with stable water conditions. While it’s easy to care for, regular maintenance is needed to manage its rapid growth, as it can quickly spread across your reef tank.
