Overview:
The Caribbean Lilac Chromis is a beautiful, peaceful schooling fish known for its soft lilac to bluish-silver hues and graceful swimming. Perfect for reef and community tanks, this species adds a shimmering splash of color and activity to your marine aquarium.
Origin:
Native to the tropical waters of the Western Atlantic and Caribbean Sea, Chromis scotti is typically found in shallow reef environments, gliding above coral heads in loose schools.
Feeding:
An undemanding omnivore, the Lilac Chromis readily accepts a variety of foods. Feed a balanced diet of high-quality marine flakes or pellets, enriched with frozen or live foods like brine shrimp and mysis shrimp for vibrant health and color.
Tank Mates:
Naturally peaceful, this species is ideal for reef tanks and does well with other gentle fish like clownfish, wrasses, gobies, and blennies. Best kept in small groups to display natural schooling behavior and reduce aggression.

All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Wednesday and Thursday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible. Please ensure you have read and understood our DOA policy prior to purchase.
