Origin: Originally from East Asia, the Pearlscale Goldfish has a rich history dating back to ancient Chinese fish cultivation. It has been selectively bred over centuries for its unique scale texture and body shape, making it a symbol of elegance and beauty in aquatic pets.

Feeding: Pearlscale Goldfish are omnivores and thrive on a balanced diet. High-quality goldfish pellets or flakes should form the basis of their diet, supplemented with occasional treats like brine shrimp, daphnia, and blanched vegetables. Overfeeding should be avoided as Pearlscales are prone to digestive issues due to their compact body shape.

Tank Mates: When selecting tank mates, consider peaceful and slow-moving fish that won’t compete aggressively for food. Ideal companions include other fancy goldfish varieties, such as Ryukins or Orandas. Avoid pairing them with fast-swimming or nippy fish to prevent stress and injury.

Aggression: Pearlscale Goldfish are known for their gentle and serene nature. They are not aggressive and prefer to swim gracefully around the tank, exploring their environment in a calm and unhurried manner.

Courier Service Level Agreement

Our courier collects livestock from us on the evening before your selected delivery date. Delivery is made the following day before 1:00pm, with livestock maintained in the same condition and temperature as at collection.

Tracking details will be sent directly by our courier (DX) on the evening of collection. You will also receive a text message around 9:00am on the day of delivery with your estimated delivery time slot.
