Fire Blood Red Shrimp Neocaridina 2cm

Overview: The Blood Red Fire Shrimp, scientifically known as Caridina, captivates aquarists with its striking crimson hue and engaging behavior. These vibrant invertebrates add a dynamic touch to planted tanks and nano aquariums, showcasing a brilliant red coloration that intensifies in well-maintained environments.

Origin: Originating from the freshwater streams and rivers of Asia, particularly from Taiwan, these shrimp thrive in stable, clean water conditions.

Feeding: Blood Red Fire Shrimp are omnivorous and eagerly consume algae, biofilm, and leftover fish food. Their diet benefits from supplementary feeding with specialized shrimp pellets or blanched vegetables like zucchini and spinach.

Tank Mates: These shrimp peacefully coexist with small, non-aggressive fish such as Rasboras, Tetras, or Dwarf Corydoras. Ensure tank mates are not aggressive or predatory to avoid any conflicts.

Aggression: Known for their peaceful demeanor, Blood Red Fire Shrimp are non-aggressive towards other tank inhabitants and contribute positively to a balanced aquatic ecosystem.

Experience Level: Ideal for aquarists with some experience in freshwater shrimp keeping. They thrive in stable, well-established aquariums with consistent water parameters.

Water Parameters: Blood Red Fire Shrimp prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions with a pH range of 6.5 to 7.5, a temperature between 72°F to 78°F (22°C to 26°C), and moderate hardness (GH 6-8, KH 2-4).
