Albino Super Red Violet Fusion Arowana Scleropages Formosus 20cm

Overview: The Albino Super Red Violet Fusion Arowana, a breathtaking variant of the Scleropages formosus, is a true jewel of the aquarium. Renowned for its striking albino coloration, infused with shades of red and violet, this fish exudes an ethereal beauty. With a sleek body and elongated finnage, it commands attention in any aquatic setting. Growing up to 36 inches, it’s a species admired for both its rarity and mesmerizing appearance.

Origin: This exquisite variant is bred from the Asian Arowana, native to Southeast Asia’s freshwater basins. The Super Red Violet Fusion is a product of selective breeding, aimed at enhancing its unique coloration and appeal. Its ancestors roam the slow-moving rivers and backwaters, thriving in a habitat rich in biodiversity.

Feeding: A carnivorous species, the Albino Super Red Violet Fusion Arowana thrives on a protein-rich diet. Offer a variety of live or frozen foods such as shrimp, small fish, and insects. Occasional supplementation with high-quality pellets ensures a balanced diet, supporting both health and color vibrancy.

Tank Mates: Selecting tank mates for this Arowana demands caution due to its size and predatory nature. Ideal companions include large, peaceful fish that can hold their own without competing for territory. Avoid small species likely to be seen as prey. Species such as large catfish, robust barbs, and similarly sized cichlids can coexist with the Arowana under careful supervision.

Aggression: The Albino Super Red Violet Fusion Arowana is relatively peaceful with appropriately sized tank mates but may exhibit territorial behavior. Its predatory instincts are pronounced, so it’s crucial to manage its environment to minimize stress and aggression.

Experience Level: Caring for this Arowana is best suited for the experienced aquarist. Its needs for large tank space, specific dietary requirements, and potential for sizeable growth demand a dedicated and knowledgeable keeper.

Water Parameters: Optimal water conditions include a temperature range of 75-86°F (24-30°C), pH levels between 6.5 and 7.5, and soft to moderately hard water. Regular water changes and a well-maintained filtration system are essential to keep these majestic fish healthy and vibrant.

Embrace the challenge and reward of keeping the Albino Super Red Violet Fusion Arowana, and let its unparalleled beauty become the centerpiece of your aquatic collection.
