Omnivores that thrive on high-quality flakes, pellets, algae-based foods, and blanched vegetables, with occasional frozen/live treats.

Peaceful and well-suited to community aquariums with tetras, guppies, platies, Corydoras, and other non-aggressive fish.
Aggression:
Generally peaceful, though males may display mild territorial or mating behavior.
