Description

Bekko Butterfly Japanese Koi Carp (Cyprinus carpio)

Overview:
The Bekko Butterfly Japanese Koi is a striking ornamental koi featuring a clean white, red, or yellow body adorned with bold black markings. Its long, flowing butterfly fins and high-contrast patterning make it a visually captivating centerpiece in any premium pond.

Origin:
Originating from Japan, the Bekko variety is valued for its simple yet bold markings and classic koi elegance. The butterfly-fin version enhances the traditional pattern with graceful movement and fluid swimming.

Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.
