Feeding these Tetras is a breeze as they eagerly accept high-quality flake foods, supplemented with live or frozen fare like daphnia and brine shrimp, enhancing their coloration and overall health.

Known for their peaceful demeanor, Rice Fish Tetras thrive alongside similarly-sized and non-aggressive tank mates such as small Rasboras, peaceful Dwarf Corydoras, and shrimp species. Their passive nature makes them an excellent choice for community tanks.

With a low to moderate aggression level, these Tetras are best suited to aquarists of varying experience levels, including beginners. Keeping them in stable water conditions with temperatures between 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH range of 6.0-7.5, and soft to slightly hard water is ideal for their well-being.

STANDARD UK DELIVERY COST IS FIXED AT £20 FOR ANY NUMBER OF FISH PER ORDER INSURED UK DELIVERY COST IS FIXED AT £30 FOR ANY NUMBER OF FISH PER ORDER We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Wednesday and Thursday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible. Please ensure you have read and understood our DOA policy prior to purchase.
