“Discover the captivating Brilliant Rasbora (Rasbora Einthovenii), a gem among freshwater aquarium fish. Originating from the clear, slow-moving waters of Southeast Asia, these Rasboras showcase stunning coloration—vibrant red-orange bodies contrasted by a brilliant stripe running from nose to tail. Their peaceful demeanor makes them ideal for community tanks and planted setups.

Feeding these Rasboras is a breeze, as they readily accept high-quality flake foods, supplemented with occasional live or frozen treats like bloodworms and daphnia.

Perfect tank mates include peaceful fish like other Rasboras, small tetras, peaceful catfish (such as Corydoras), and non-aggressive dwarf cichlids. These Rasboras thrive in a well-maintained aquarium of at least 20 gallons, densely planted with ample swimming space.

Known for their gentle nature, Brilliant Rasboras seldom exhibit aggression, making them an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced aquarists alike. To ensure their well-being, maintain water parameters at a temperature of 73-79°F (23-26°C), with a pH range of 6.0-7.5 and a relatively soft to moderately hard water.

STANDARD UK DELIVERY COST IS FIXED AT £20 FOR ANY NUMBER OF FISH PER ORDER INSURED UK DELIVERY COST IS FIXED AT £30 FOR ANY NUMBER OF FISH PER ORDER We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Wednesday and Thursday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible. Please ensure you have read and understood our DOA policy prior to purchase.
