Providing ample hiding places and maintaining a well-structured environment contribute to a balanced and peaceful community.

Experience Level: Ideal for intermediate to experienced aquarists, the Vieja Window Cichlid requires attentive care and an understanding of cichlid behavior. Their specific needs and potential territorial tendencies make them best suited for hobbyists familiar with managing moderately aggressive fish.

Water Parameters: Maintaining water conditions reflective of their natural habitat is crucial for the health and well-being of Vieja Window Cichlids. Aim for a pH range of 7.0 to 8.0, with water temperatures between 75°F to 82°F (24°C to 28°C). Regular water testing and changes will contribute to a stable and thriving aquarium environment.
