Overview: The Corydoras Davidsandsi, also known as David Sands’ Cory, is a captivating and peaceful freshwater fish. Origin: Native to the Rio Tocantins in Brazil, Corydoras Davidsandsi thrives in soft, slightly acidic water. They are typically found in shallow, slow-moving waters with plenty of vegetation and a sandy or fine gravel substrate.
Feeding: Omnivorous by nature, they readily accept a variety of foods. A balanced diet should include high-quality sinking pellets or wafers, supplemented with live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. Vegetables like blanched zucchini or cucumber slices can also be offered occasionally.
Tank Mates: Being peaceful and sociable, Corydoras Davidsandsi does well with other non-aggressive fish. Ideal tank mates include small tetras, rasboras, and dwarf cichlids. They enjoy the company of their own kind, so keeping them in groups of at least five will encourage natural behavior and reduce stress.
