“Introducing the captivating Crazy Fish Butis Butis Sleeper Goby! Originating from the Indian Ocean, this fascinating species boasts striking patterns and a mesmerizing personality. With a penchant for burrowing in sandy substrates, these gobies add an enchanting allure to any aquarium setup.
Feeding on small crustaceans and frozen foods, they thrive in a well-maintained tank with peaceful tank mates like small gobies, blennies, or similarly sized fish. Their mild-mannered disposition makes them an ideal addition to community tanks.
While generally peaceful, these gobies might exhibit territorial behavior towards their own species if the tank is too small or lacking in hiding spots. However, they are usually quite accommodating when provided with ample space and shelter.
Best suited for intermediate aquarists, the Butis Butis Sleeper Goby requires a moderate level of care. Keeping water parameters stable with temperatures ranging between 72-78°F (22-26°C), pH levels of 7.8-8.4, and a salinity of 1.020-1.025 is key to ensuring their well-being.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
