Description

One of the word’s best loved filters has had a makeover and Fluval are excited to announce the launch of the New Fluval FX6 external canister filter, the newly improved canister filter with advanced motor technology, energy efficient motor and super quiet operation.

Branded as the ‘salvation of the aquarium,’ the new Fluval FX6 is a high performance canister filter, and upgrade of the FX5, which takes the hard work out of fish tank mantenance with its smart pump technology and beefy specifications.

Just one of the new benefits of the Fluval FX6 is that it comes complete with a full media selection including foam, biological media, carbon and biofoam, which allows the hobbyist to maintain a healthy environment.

Catering for large home aquariums, the Fluval FX6 has been designed with some great features. Its powerful integrated motor re-circulates 2,130lts of water every hour, enought to keep a 1,500lts aquarium clean and healthy. The unique, intelligent smart pump technology used means that you just add water and plug the filter in, no need for manual siphoning.

The filter will fill with water from the aquarium, pause to evacuate air, and then immediately begin the filtration process, continuing until it is unplugged. Once every twelve hours, the filter pauses to evacuate any trapped air, so that the total vacuum is maintained.

An electronic circuit board continaully monitors the pump, while the impeller speed and force are measured constantly to ensure maximum output and energy efficiency.

The featured click fit technology creates a fast set up and leak proof maintenance, with valves that rotate and are at a 45drg angle for easy positioning.

A unique feature of the Fluval FX6 is its maintenenace reminder. The monthly indicator dials allows you to remember the date of the last time you maintained the filter, and with the FX6 water changing is a breeze – just attach the appropriate hose to the output and the FX6 smart pump technology will do the rest – no need for buckets.

Virtually clog proof, the FX6 has a telescopic intake strainer making it easier to position, and its wide, rounded mouth is shaped to siphon water quickly. The fine beveled screen repels debris and the flared spout of the adjustable output nozzle sends streams of purified water in all directsions, creating currents that agitate the water.

Thanks to the canister’s purge valve with drain hose and re-engineered canister clips, the entire stack of baskets is easy to lift and quicker to open when changing or cleaning the filtration media.

Our auctions operate on an automated bidding and payment system, and by placing a bid you confirm that you have read and accept these Terms and Conditions. If you are successful in winning an auction, the cost of the fish will be automatically charged to your registered payment card. Once ready, you should log into your account, navigate to the auctions section, and complete each winning order. Where multiple auctions are won, you must pay the applicable shipping cost, select your preferred delivery date using the checkout calendar, and for any additional orders select the shipping method “Add to Order.”

As an account is required to take part, any customer who signs up, places bids, and then deletes their account will forfeit their order and any funds already charged.

We also reserve the right to restrict or block access to future auctions where necessary.
