Overview: The Golden Harlequin Rasbora, a stunning variant of the popular Harlequin Rasbora, boasts vibrant golden hues accented by striking red markings. Origin: Native to Southeast Asia, specifically found in the clear, slow-moving waters of rivers and streams in countries like Thailand, Malaysia, and Indonesia.

Feeding: These Rasboras are omnivores and readily accept high-quality flake, pellet, and small-sized frozen or live foods. They particularly enjoy a varied diet that includes small insects, zooplankton, and plant matter.

Tank Mates: Known for their peaceful nature, Golden Harlequin Rasboras thrive when kept in a school of 6 or more individuals. They make great tank mates for other peaceful fish such as other Rasbora species, small Tetras, Corydoras catfish, and peaceful bottom dwellers like Dwarf Shrimp or small Loaches.

Aggression: These Rasboras are extremely peaceful and non-aggressive, making them a fantastic choice for community tanks with other non-aggressive species.

Experience Level: Beginner to intermediate aquarists will find these Rasboras relatively easy to care for. However, attention to water quality and ensuring they are kept in a suitable, well-maintained environment is crucial.

Water Parameters: They prefer slightly acidic to neutral water conditions with a pH range of 6.0-7.0 and a temperature between 72-78°F (22-26°C). Provide ample vegetation or hiding places among plants to mimic their natural habitat.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
