Green Furry Mushroom Colony Rhodactis Indosinensis

The Green Furry Mushroom Colony (Rhodactis indosinensis) is a vibrant and unique soft coral that originates from the Indo-Pacific region. This colony features a cluster of individual polyps with a fuzzy, hairy appearance and a green coloration that can range from pale to fluorescent hues. Rhodactis indosinensis is considered a hardy and peaceful mushroom coral that is suitable for both beginner and experienced aquarium hobbyists. These corals thrive in low to moderate water flow and lighting conditions, making them a great addition to the lower or middle sections of a reef tank. As filter feeders, the Green Furry Mushroom Colony does not require direct feeding, as it obtains its nutrients from the water column and photosynthesis via its symbiotic zooxanthellae algae. This coral can be kept with a variety of peaceful tank mates, such as small fish, shrimp, and other invertebrates, as it is not known to be aggressive. To ensure the optimal care and growth of this coral, it is recommended to maintain a stable water temperature between 72-82°F, a pH of 8.1-8.4, and moderate calcium and alkalinity levels. Regular water changes and a well-established protein skimmer are also essential for maintaining the health of the Green Furry Mushroom Colony

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
