Overview: The Green Reef Chromis is a vibrant, peaceful, and hardy marine fish that adds a pop of color and activity to any saltwater aquarium. Feeding: The Green Reef Chromis is an omnivore with a diet in the wild that consists of plankton, algae, and small crustaceans. In captivity, they thrive on a varied diet of high-quality marine flakes, frozen and live foods such as brine shrimp, mysis shrimp, and finely chopped seafood. Feeding should occur 2-3 times daily in small amounts to avoid overfeeding.

Tank Mates: This species is exceptionally peaceful and can be kept with a wide variety of other marine fishes. Ideal tank mates include other peaceful fish, such as clownfish, gobies, and dartfish. It is best to avoid housing them with large, aggressive species that may bully or prey upon them. Green Reef Chromis can be kept singly but prefers the company of its own kind, thriving in small groups or schools.

Aggression: Green Reef Chromis exhibits very low levels of aggression towards other tank inhabitants. Its peaceful demeanor makes it a perfect community fish. However, minimal aggression might be observed towards its own species if the tank is overcrowded or if there are not enough hiding spaces.
