Overview: The L333 King Tiger Pleco is a striking freshwater fish known for its distinctive black and creamy-yellow stripes, which mimic a tiger’s coat. This species grows to an average size of 5-6 inches, making it a perfect addition to medium and large-sized aquariums. Origin: Native to the Amazon River basin in South America, the L333 thrives in fast-flowing streams and river segments. It prefers environments with plenty of hiding spots, such as rocks and driftwood.

Feeding: Primarily a carnivore, the L333 King Tiger Pleco’s diet should include a variety of high-quality sinking pellets, frozen or live foods such as bloodworms, and occasional vegetable matter to ensure a balanced diet.

Tank Mates: Ideal tank mates include small to medium-sized, peaceful fish. Larger, aggressive species should be avoided to prevent stress. It is also compatible with other plecos, provided the tank is spacious enough to accommodate multiple territories.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
