Origin: Native to South America, particularly found in the river systems of Brazil and Peru, the Ninja Woodcat Tatia Musaica thrives in slow-moving waters and prefers densely vegetated areas.

Feeding: These loaches are omnivorous and enjoy a varied diet. They eagerly consume live or frozen foods such as bloodworms, brine shrimp, and high-quality sinking pellets or flakes.

Tank Mates: Generally peaceful and non-aggressive, Ninja Woodcats coexist well with other peaceful species like tetras, dwarf cichlids, rasboras, and peaceful bottom-dwelling fish. Avoid pairing them with aggressive or large, predatory fish.

Aggression: Known for their docile nature, Ninja Woodcats are not territorial and usually avoid confrontations. They prefer to explore their environment and spend time in the lower levels of the tank.

Experience Level: This species is suitable for aquarists of various experience levels. Beginners will find them easy to care for, but ensuring water quality and a varied diet is crucial for their well-being.

Water Parameters: Maintain a stable aquarium environment with temperatures ranging from 72-78°F (22-26°C), a pH level between 6.5-7.5, and soft to moderately hard water (5-12 dGH).

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
