Origin: Originating from the river systems of Southeast Asia, particularly Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos, these fish thrive in slow-moving freshwater environments rich in vegetation and hiding spots.

Feeding: Royal Clown Knife Fish are carnivorous, favoring live food such as small fish, earthworms, shrimp, and insects. They may also accept high-quality pellets or frozen foods.

Tank Mates: Best kept with peaceful tank mates of similar size, as smaller fish might be seen as potential prey. Suitable companions include larger tetras, catfish, or other non-aggressive, similarly-sized species.

Aggression: Typically peaceful but may display territorial behavior, especially when establishing their space within the aquarium. Provide plenty of hiding spots to reduce stress and potential conflicts.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
