These rasboras thrive in peaceful, well-planted tanks resembling their natural habitat, where they enjoy a diet of high-quality flake foods, supplemented with live or frozen fare like daphnia or bloodworms. They appreciate a varied diet that mimics their omnivorous tendencies in the wild.
Their calm demeanor makes them excellent tank mates for other peaceful community fish, such as tetras, peaceful barbs, and dwarf cichlids. Their non-aggressive nature extends to their interactions within the tank, making them a wonderful addition to community setups.
Ideal for aquarists of varying experience levels, these rasboras are relatively easy to care for, requiring stable water conditions. Aim for temperatures between 75-82°F (24-28°C), a pH range of 6.0-7.5, and moderate water flow. Regular water changes and maintenance ensure their well-being.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
