“Sparkling Gourami (Trichopsis pumila) are delightful nano fish known for their iridescent colors and peaceful demeanor. Originating from Southeast Asia, they inhabit slow-moving, densely vegetated waters. These petite beauties thrive on a diet of small live or frozen foods like daphnia, brine shrimp, and quality flake or pellet foods.
Ideal for small community tanks, Sparkling Gouramis prefer calm companions such as small tetras, rasboras, or peaceful dwarf shrimp. They’re generally non-aggressive, but males may exhibit territorial behavior towards each other, necessitating adequate hiding spots and plant cover.
Their tranquil nature makes them suitable for beginners, although a moderately planted aquarium and stable water conditions are crucial. They appreciate soft, slightly acidic water (pH 6.0-7.0) and temperatures around 75-82°F (24-28°C). With their shimmering beauty and peaceful disposition, Sparkling Gouramis add a touch of charm to any aquarium.”

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
