Talawa Wood per kg

Talawa wood is particularly suitable for aquascaping due to its straight but branched shape. If desired, these roots of Asian origin can be covered with moss or plants such as Anubias or ferns. The root can be used in the aquarium or in a terrarium. The wood should be soak in clean water before use. The wood can float and mould in the initial phase.The mould is not harmful to the aquarium and will disappear on its own after a while. It is also possible to remove the fungus with a brush. It does take some time for the wood to sink. It may be useful to make it heavier with a stone. Initially, the water may turn slightly brown, but only very little humic acid is released. It is recommended that you soak this wood in clean water before use.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
