Assorted Anubias Plants

Overview:
Our Assorted Anubias Plants collection includes a variety of hardy, slow-growing species such as Anubias nana, Anubias barteri, Anubias heterophylla, and other popular varieties. Known for their lush green leaves and tough, versatile growth, these plants are perfect for aquascaping, attaching to rocks or driftwood, or adding natural texture to midground and background areas.

Origin:
Native to West and Central Africa, commonly found along shaded rivers, streams, and swamps.

Feeding:
Low nutrient requirements. Thrive with:

  • Occasional root tabs or nutrient-rich substrate

  • Liquid fertilizers to maintain leaf health

  • CO₂ optional but encourages fuller growth and richer color

Tank Mates:
Compatible with most community fish, shrimp, and snails. Tough leaves make them suitable even in tanks with semi-aggressive or nibbling species.

Aggression:
Non-aggressive. Slow-growing and compact, these plants will not overtake neighboring plants.

Experience Level:
Beginner-friendly. Extremely hardy and tolerant of low light and a wide range of water conditions. Can be mounted on rocks or driftwood, or placed in substrate with rhizome above to prevent rot.

Water Parameters:

  • Temperature: 72–82°F (22–28°C)

  • pH: 6.0–7.8

  • Hardness: Soft to moderately hard

  • Lighting: Low to medium
