Known for their friendly demeanor, Orandas make splendid additions to community tanks. However, be mindful of their flowing double-tail, which might make them slightly less agile compared to single-tail goldfish. Optimal tank mates include other fancy goldfish varieties, such as Ryukins and Telescopes, ensuring a harmonious aquatic symphony.
These graceful beings are generally low on the aggression scale, making them suitable for both beginners and seasoned hobbyists alike. A moderate experience level is recommended to provide the care and attention these elegant fish deserve.
Maintain water parameters with care, ensuring a stable environment with temperatures ranging from 65°F to 75°F (18°C to 24°C). Keep the pH level between 6.0 and 8.0, and provide a well-filtered aquarium with adequate space for these beauties to gracefully glide through their aquatic domain.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
