Overview:
The Benigoi Butterfly Grade A Koi is a striking ornamental koi celebrated for its rich, uniform red coloration and elegant, flowing butterfly fins. Its bold colour intensity and smooth body shape create a powerful visual presence in any high-quality pond display.

Origin:
Developed in Japan, the Benigoi variety is prized for its deep red pigmentation. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for superior color depth, consistency, and refined fin structure, making it a premium choice for koi enthusiasts.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though maintaining excellent water quality and adequate space is essential to preserve Grade A condition.
