Origin: Originating from freshwater habitats across Asia, including regions like Taiwan and southern China, these Caridina species thrive in carefully managed aquatic environments.

Feeding: Assorted Shrimp Caridina are omnivorous creatures, relishing a varied diet comprising algae, specialized shrimp pellets, blanched vegetables like zucchini or spinach, and occasional protein sources such as bloodworms or brine shrimp. A balanced diet ensures their health and vibrant coloring.

Tank Mates: Peaceful and community-oriented, these shrimp coexist harmoniously with small, non-aggressive fish like tetras, rasboras, or small catfish species. Avoid housing them with large or aggressive tank mates to ensure their safety.

Aggression: Non-aggressive and rather timid, Assorted Shrimp Caridina thrive in serene, well-established aquariums with plenty of hiding spots among live plants or driftwood.

Experience Level: Ideal for aquarists of varying experience levels, these shrimp are relatively low-maintenance but benefit from attention to water quality and suitable tank conditions.

Water Parameters: Maintaining stable water conditions is crucial. Optimal parameters include a slightly acidic to neutral pH (6.5-7.5), a temperature range of 70-78°F (21-26°C), and low to moderate hardness (GH 4-8, KH 0-4). A well-cycled tank with consistent parameters promotes their health and breeding success.

Instead, any verified losses will be replaced free of charge with your next order, subject to the conditions below.

To qualify for a replacement, we require clear supporting photographs sent via email within the guarantee period.

If you experience any issues with your livestock or delivery — although rare — please contact us and we will always work to resolve the matter promptly.

Courier Service Level Agreement

Our courier collects livestock from us on the evening before your selected delivery date. Delivery is made the following day before 1:00pm, with livestock maintained in the same condition and temperature as at collection.

Tracking details will be sent directly by our courier (DX) on the evening of collection. You will also receive a text message around 9:00am on the day of delivery with your estimated delivery time slot.
