Overview: Assorted Goldfish are a popular and vibrant addition to any freshwater aquarium. Known for their bright colors and various shapes, these peaceful fish add beauty and life to your tank. They come in a range of sizes and are perfect for both beginners and experienced aquarists.

Origin: Originally from East Asia, Goldfish have been bred for centuries and are one of the oldest domesticated fish species. They have a rich history, having first been kept in China over a thousand years ago.

Feeding: Goldfish are omnivorous and not particularly fussy eaters. A balanced diet consisting of high-quality goldfish flakes or pellets should be their main food source. Occasional treats like brine shrimp, daphnia, and blanched vegetables like peas or spinach can be offered.

Tank Mates: Goldfish are generally peaceful and do well with other non-aggressive fish. Ideal tank mates include other varieties of goldfish, rubber lip plecos, and certain types of danios and rasboras. Avoid housing them with tropical fish, as goldfish prefer cooler water temperatures.

Aggression: Goldfish are known for their docile nature and are rarely aggressive. However, they may nip at long-finned fish or smaller, more timid species. It’s essential to monitor their interactions with tank mates.

Experience Level: Goldfish are an excellent choice for both novice and experienced aquarists. They are hardy and relatively easy to care for, making them an ideal first fish for beginners.

Courier Service Level Agreement

Our courier collects livestock from us on the evening before your selected delivery date. Delivery is made the following day before 1:00pm, with livestock maintained in the same condition and temperature as at collection.

Tracking details will be sent directly by our courier (DX) on the evening of collection. You will also receive a text message around 9:00am on the day of delivery with your estimated delivery time slot.
