“Meet the captivating Blue Rili Shrimp Neocaridina, a delightful addition to any freshwater aquarium. Originating from the selective breeding of Neocaridina davidi, these tiny invertebrates showcase stunning blue and clear coloration, creating a mesmerizing visual spectacle in your tank.
Feeding on a varied diet of algae, biofilm, and commercial shrimp food, these low-maintenance shrimp are easy to care for. Their peaceful nature makes them fantastic tank mates for other non-aggressive, small fish and invertebrates, though caution is advised with larger or aggressive species.
With a low level of aggression, Blue Rili Shrimp prefer a tranquil environment and thrive in well-established tanks with ample hiding spots like plants, moss, or driftwood. They’re ideal for aquarists of all experience levels, offering a fascinating glimpse into the world of freshwater shrimp.
Maintaining stable water parameters is crucial for their well-being. Keep water temperatures between 65°F to 78°F (18°C to 26°C) and maintain pH levels around 6.5 to 8.0. Regular water changes and appropriate water quality are essential for their health and vibrancy.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
