Feeding: These eartheaters prefer a varied diet consisting of high-quality flake food, pellets, and live or frozen foods such as brine shrimp, bloodworms, and daphnia. Their bottom-feeding nature means they will also help clean the tank by consuming leftover food and detritus.

Tank Mates: Geophagus Winemilleri are peaceful fish that do well in community tanks with species that share their calm demeanor. Ideal tank mates include larger tetras, peaceful cichlids, catfish, and other South American fish that thrive in similar water conditions.
