Description
Pearl Danio Danio Albolineatus 2cm
“Originating from Southeast Asia, the Pearl Danio (Danio Albolineatus) is a captivating freshwater fish cherished for its stunning pearlescent appearance. Sporting iridescent scales resembling pearls, these small, schooling fish add a touch of elegance to any aquarium.
Feeding on small live or frozen foods, they also readily accept high-quality flakes or pellets. Their peaceful demeanor makes them excellent tank mates for similarly sized, non-aggressive fish like small tetras, rasboras, or peaceful bottom dwellers like Corydoras.
These danios are relatively peaceful and can thrive in community setups. A beginner-friendly species, they require a moderately experienced aquarist due to their need for stable water parameters. They prefer a well-filtered tank with pH levels around 6.5 to 7.0, a temperature range of 72-78°F (22-26°C), and ample swimming space.
Their energetic nature and captivating beauty make the Pearl Danio a delightful addition to freshwater aquariums for aquarists of varying experience levels.”
