Overview:
The Kikusui Butterfly Grade A Koi is a stunning ornamental koi known for its bright metallic white body accented with vibrant red or orange patterning. Combined with elegant, flowing butterfly fins, this variety offers exceptional brilliance and visual impact in any pond display.

Origin:
Developed in Japan, the Kikusui variety is a metallic expression of the Kohaku line. This Grade A butterfly specimen has been selectively bred for superior color clarity, balance, and refined fin structure, resulting in a truly premium-quality koi.

Feeding:
Omnivorous. Feed high-quality, color-enhancing koi pellets as a staple, supplemented with vegetables, shrimp, or seasonal treats. Feed 1–2 times daily during warmer months.

Tank / Pond Mates:
Peaceful and social. Best kept with other koi or calm, similarly sized pond fish such as goldfish.

Temperament / Aggression:
Very peaceful and non-aggressive, ideal for mixed koi ponds.

Experience Level:
Beginner to advanced. Hardy and adaptable, though excellent water quality and sufficient pond space are essential to maintain Grade A condition.
