The Purple Frilly Gorgonia Pseudopterogorgia Elisabethae is a stunning soft coral species native to the Caribbean Sea. It features a vibrant purple coloration and a delicate, frilly appearance. This Gorgonia is a filter feeder, capturing plankton and other small particles from the water column. It is generally peaceful and can be kept with a variety of other reef-safe invertebrates and small fish. However, it requires an experienced aquarist to maintain, as it has specific water parameter needs. The ideal water temperature should be between 72-82°F, with a pH of 8.1-8.4, and moderate water flow. Proper lighting, such as LED or T5 fluorescent, is also crucial for its growth and coloration. This Gorgonia is not recommended for beginners, as it can be challenging to care for and may be sensitive to changes in water quality.

We operate a UK wide next day delivery service available through DX overnight, a DEFRA registered courier. All our fish are packed in double thickness bags for safety and filled with pure oxygen. The bags are then wrapped in a foil blanket with heat packs to keep them warm. They are then packed in a large polystyrene box with a cardboard outer. All our fish are booked with the courier as “live fish” and travel in security cages throughout their journey. All fish are only in the box for a maximum of 18 hours which is our service level agreement with the courier. Your delivery date will be communicated to you via email within 24 hours of purchase and your tracking information will be sent to you directly via email by DX the evening before your scheduled delivery date. Please contact us if you would like to change your delivery date to a more convenient time. Deliveries are made on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday every week. We will always try our very best to get your order to you as quickly and as safely as possible.
